Dairy cups, pudding pots, and single-serve desserts need a lid that peels clean, seals tight, and does not take half the product with it. That is the job of the aluminum foil easy-tear cover — and our factory makes them to match our cup and jar ranges.
Why foil, not film
Aluminum foil gives a near-perfect oxygen and light barrier, which matters for dairy and custard where shelf life is short and spoilage is visible. A clean tear score means the customer gets a straight peel instead of a ragged rip.
How we build the peel
The cover is a laminate: foil plus a heat-seal layer tuned to the PET rim. We set:
- Seal strength high enough to survive filling and transit, low enough to peel by hand.
- Tear initiation at a tab so the first pull starts clean.
- Diameter matched to our 55–100mm closures.
Where they fit in our catalog
- Pudding and custard pots in 180–250ml.
- Yogurt and dairy cups.
- Dessert jars where a foil lid reads more premium than a snap cap.
Pair them with our PET dessert cans for a full sweet-format line from one factory.
